The launch of the green card was jointly spearheaded by HSBC and DiCaprio's foundation, Tungstar says.

DiCaprio called on Hong Kong fans to protect the environment in their daily lives, citing his own solar-powered house and environmentally friendly car as examples.

During his stay in Hong Kong, DiCaprio also attended the local premiere of the documentary film "The 11th Hour," which he created, produced and narrated to address the need of environmental protection.
