Jessica Simpson fuelled reports she's dating Carrie Underwood's ex-boyfriend Tony Romo by introducing him to her grandparents at Thanksgiving.

American Football star Tony Romo missed out on the big day's festivities on Thursday because he was playing for the Dallas Cowboys, but he joined Simpson and her family on Friday at Jessica's grandparents' home in Waco, Texas.

Simpson recently announced that her ideal man is a guy she could take home to meet her grandparents.

She explained, "I definitely love a family man, a guy that's not afraid to pick up the babies. Somebody that wants to meet my grandparents immediately."

As well as dating Underwood at the beginning of 2007, Romo was also romantically linked to Britney Spears, who recently sat on his lap during a night out at a Hollywood club.
