Avril Lavigne forced to go to Britney Spears concert

It's pop princess vs. pop princess.
As a little girl, Avril Lavigne says she was forced against her will to watch Britney Spears do her thing on stage.
The Canadian pocket rocket's mom made her ingest an entire evening of Spears' singing, she told Jane magazine.
"My mom made me go to a Britney Spears concert when I was young," said Lavigne. "I was like, 'No I don't want to.' She was like, 'If you're going to be a performer, you need to see other people.'"
The "Complicated" artist obviously isn't a fan of the reformed rehabber, who happens to be looking happy and fabulous these days.
But Brit is in a bit of a pit again after being crowned the Most Foolish American by publicist Jeff Barge, who worked with the Opinion Research Corp. on the annual poll.
