Jessica Simpson and her ex-husband Nick Lachey will battle it out in the U.K. singles chart next week, when they simultaneously release songs about their failed relationship, according to UTC news.

Jessica Simpson releases her track "A Public Affair" to counter Nick Lachey's "What's Left Of Me" and even plays on the upcoming battle in her press release.

Her publicity statement reads, "The fabulous Jessica Simpson Nicks the spotlight on January 29..."
