Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce Knowles will hand out gifts to underprivileged kids in New York before heading to Houston, Texas for a traditional family Christmas.

The charitable R&B superstar's first priority is to spread some festive cheer in children's homes in the Big Apple, and only then can she go home for some of her mom's home cooking.

She says, "I do the same thing every year. I start out in New York passing toys out at children's homes."

"Then I fly to Houston to my mother's house, and she cooks. She cooks yams, and macaroni and cheese, and spicy turkey and greens."

"We pass out gifts and we listen to Motown Christmas and sing and tell stories, and then we go to sleep. It's great!"
