Jet Li will star in a remake of the classic Shaw Bros. actioner “Blood Brothers”, according toMonkey Peaches.
Director Peter Chan is said to be in talks with Li, as well as Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro, to play the film’s brothers.
The 1973 original was set in the waring years of the Ching dynasty and fixed on a jealous provincial governor who kills his friend in order to steal the man's wife.
