Madonna is scared of her mother-in-law.

The singer, who is married to British film director Guy Ritchie, has confessed despite being brave enough to dress up in bondage gear and 'ride' a leather-clad male dancer on her latest world tour she is fearful of Mrs Ritchie.

She told Britain's Sunday Times Style magazine: "Have I ever been totally and completely intimidated by another person? Yes. My husband's mother." advertisement

Madonna recently posed for a series of explicit photos influenced by her love of horse riding.

The 47-year-old singer dressed as a horse rider for the provocative shoot for America's 'W' magazine.

The images - shot by celebrity photographer Steven Klein - feature the star posing topless, wearing fishnet stockings, leather gloves and a riding crop.
