Six white-collar workers from Shanghai have volunteered to auction themselves on November 11 Singles' Day.
The special Singles' Day Bachelor Auction has been planned by students at Fudan University.
More than 20 young professionals and students are to bid for the chance to date one of them.
One of the smooth-talking volunteers said the lucky lady that bids the most for him will get the chance to tag along when he walks his dog.
