Popular Talking Roses Flowers don't talk - unless you do something to them. In the Northeastern city of Dalian, one sort of rose is dominating the flower market. The petals have carefully-carved wishes on them, and customers can write on
whatever they want to say, so the flowers are called "talking roses".
