Actor Yu Yi speaks for "Confidence"

Famous Mainland TV star Lu Yi has agreed to become a spokesman for "Confidence" in Shanghai to boost self belief among young people in urban areas, according to China Radio International Monday.

He has been invited to a net company sponsored party and will make a statement of about the importance of "self-confidence" in Shanghai.

The sunny and passionate star said that without confidence he wouldn't have succeeded with his acting career.

Lu Yi has been the protagonist for a dozen hit TV plays and has even been awarded as "Best Actor" in 2000.

Statistics show over eighty percents of the young people living in cities have their confidence broken by the increasing demands of everyday life.
