Faye Wong, Chinese pop diva, was born in
Beijing, August 8, 1969. She then moved to
Hong Kong with her parents and followed in the footsteps of the
famed musician Dai Sicong to learn vocality. She debuted as a contract
singer in 1989 and soon made a name for herself in Hong Kong.
