Jinan celebrates colorful
traditional festivals all the year round, including the Baotu Lantern Festival
(the 15th of the 1st lunar month), Pingyin Rose Festival, Daming Lake Lotus
Festival and the Double Ninth Festival (the 9th day of the 9th lunar month) on
the Thousand-Buddha Mountain, attracting thousands of visitors from both home
and abroad.
