Penalties for illegally carrying firearms or knives under control

According to provisions of Law on Penalties for Administration of Public Security, any person who illegally carries firearms and ammunition, or knives under control according to regulations of the country such as crossbows and daggers, shall be imposed on of a detention of not more than five days, and may, in addition a fine of not more than 500 Yuan; if the circumstances are relatively light, a warning will be issued or a fine of not more than 200 Yuan will be imposed on.

Any person who illegally carries firearms and ammunition, or knives under control according to regulations of the country such as crossbows and daggers to a public place or in a public transportation means, shall be imposed on of a detention of not less than five days but not more than ten days, and in addition fine of not more than 500 Yuan may be imposed on.
