Two dead in 9-story building collapse in Wuhan

Rescuers dig out a buried worker from the
debris of a collapsed nine-story building with their bare hands in Wuhan,
Central China's Hubei Province September 17, 2006. The unfinished building
collapsed at afternoon on September 17, leaving two dead on the spot and six
injured. The wounded have been hospitalized. One was still missing. Thirty
workers were working around the building. The building's developer surnamed Wan
is in police custody and the cause of the disaster is under investigation.
