Ten winners from Beijing will join another 40 competitors from other areas of China in an ongoing photography contest to shoot images that best represent the nostalgic mood for Chinese traditional villages.

Each of the 50 winners will get 8,000 yuan ($1,290) to fund them for the next round of competition. They will go to shoot the traditional villages on the official list by the State Administration of Culture Heritage for the final round of the competition.

Li Ling and Li Tieqiang are among the 10 winners from Beijing.
