The first trailer has been released for Kung Fu Panda 3.

The latest installment in the animated series sees the much loved giant panda hero tasked with training Kung Fu pandas to face a supernatural villain troubling China.

Angeline Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu and Seth Rogen reprise their roles for the sequel while Rebel Wilson and J.K Simmons are new additions.

The previous Kung Fu Panda film took $665 million at the worldwide box office.

Kung Fu Panda 3's release is penned for January 2016.
