Dresses in the Yuan Dynasty were similar to those in the Song Dynasty. Tops were kept small with double draping sleeves. Skirts were often pleated and hairstyles adorned with ornaments. Half sleeved jackets, inspired from the ethnic clothes of Mongolia, were also popular.
