The TV series featuring Taiwan super idol Nicky Wu was first criticized for its avant-garde styling: The protagonist has a plane head-shaped hairdo that looked constructed with hair gel, and he wears a pair of cool sunglasses. The TV series featured a machine-gunner who shoots a Japanese soldier to death from some 400 kilometers away while netizens found the best machine guns reach 3 to 4 km at most.
