Maria Mazo has won awards at piano competitions such as the Van Cliburn (US), the Honens (Canada) and the Busoni (Italy), and was the winner of the 2013 International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna. She also won the Audience Prize at the 2014 Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition in Tel-Aviv, playing with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Asher Fisch.
