Unique ways to memorialize the deceased

One artist is a real-life PicASHo - as he incorporates his dead subject's ashes into his artwork. Artist Adam Brown's work has become so popular that he receives daily requests from people wishing for either their ashes, or the ashes of others, to be turned into paintings of the likes of fishing spots, favourite animals, flowers and even Albert Einstein.Adam, from Grandview in Missouri, USA, came across the unique concept while watching a TV show. But it was not until years later that Adam, 32, was approached by a friend of a friend, who asked if he could create a memorial portrait of a loved one. The artist suggested a painting containing their ashes, to which the person agreed.[Photo/icpress]
