Kuwait, Sudan among those seeing benefits of cooperation

The China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative will provide countries in the Middle East and Africa with more opportunities and synergize with their own development plans, officials and scholars have said.

Proposed by China in 2013, the Belt and Road Initiative aims to build trade and infrastructure networks connecting Asia with Europe and Africa along the ancient Silk Road trade routes.
