The area of land transferred in 2013 in first-tier cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, was 60.59 million square meters, with a total value of 353.3 billion yuan ($57.95 billion), up 207 percent over the same period last year, according to Homelink Real Estate, Economic Information Daily reported on Friday. Of the land transferred, the area of land for real estate development was 18.43 million sq m, up 108 percent year-on-year.
