Shen Yueyue, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, at a symposium organized by the Environmental Protection and Resources Conservation Committee of the 12th NPC on Thursday. She urged the committee to draft related bills that will contribute to ecological progress, and ensure that existing laws are implemented as part of urban and rural development plans.
