Charles Onunaiju, director of the Center for China Studies in Nigeria, praised President Xi Jinping's Global Civilization Initiative on the sidelines of a subforum of the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting. He highlighted that China encourages all nations to recognize the value of their own civilizations and engage in mutual learning toward a community with a shared future for mankind.
On July 10, the "Bond with Kuliang: 2025 China-US Youth Choir Festival" opened in Fuzhou, Fujian province. Jointly organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Fujian Provincial People's Government, the festival is themed "Sing for Peace".

This green development is a crucial part of the Three North Shelter Forest Program (TNSFP), which has the ultimate goal of controlling desertification in China's northwest, north and western northeast regions.
