However, the fact is that panda breeders are not allowed to touch their charges freely. They have to spend most of the time preparing more than 50 kilograms of bamboo daily for the pandas to eat and cleaning up more than 10 kilograms of panda excrement.

There are generally two ways through which those interested can become a breeder. One is studying livestock at university and the other is to start off as an odd job man at a zoo before maybe being chosen to take care of a panda.
