Ever since muscle atrophy struck Zhou Qunxing and robbed her of the ability to care for herself, Mo Shunhai, her husband of 34 years, has been by her side. Mo takes his wife for a stroll around the compound every day if the weather allows, helping her exercise as much as possible. A neighbor said at first she thought it was Mo and his mother, as the stooped woman with gray hair seemed much older than him. "She now needs assistance in doing everything and can't speak clearly.
