At least one person has been killed and another severely injured in an explosion which rocked a residential building in Weihai city, Shandong Province, at around 8 am on Thursday, according to an official Sina Weibo account of Xinhua News Agency.
Rescue work is underway and the cause of the explosion is being investigated.
