TAIYAUN - A government official of Yuncheng City, in north China's Shanxi Province died on Sunday morning after he jumped from his residential building, according to local government.
Dong Xuegang, 51, was the director of the Yuncheng Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology. He assumed the post in July 2013.
Dong was confirmed dead after emergency rescuers responded. An investigation into his death is under way.
