HEFEI - A truck and a minivan collided on an expressway in East China's Anhui Province on Thursday night, leaving nine people dead and two injured, local transportation authorities said on Friday.
The two injured were immediately sent to local hospital for treatment and are now in stable condition, authorities said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
