It makes me feel sad to see the current tension between China and Japan. The Japanese government should take the blame for the worsening of bilateral relations. Japan should take the courage to face up to history and not avoid the territorial dispute over the Diaoyu Islands with China. There’s no better way than the solution proposed by Deng Xiaoping some 30 years ago that “China and Japan should put aside the dispute and develop it jointly.”
