From July 17 to August 2, 1945, the Soviet Union, the United States and Britain held a meeting in Potsdam. On July 28, in the name of the United States, Britain and China the meeting published the "Potsdam Proclamation" to ask for Japan's unconditional surrender. The picture depicts the meeting.
