CHANGSHA - Six people have been confirmed dead since a bus ran into people standing on the side of a road in Central China's Hunan province on Friday, local officials said.
The accident happened at about 1:30 pm in Zhonghuopu village, Chenxi county.
The injured have been rushed to hospital, with several in very serious conditions, and the death toll is very likely to rise, officials said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
