Liaoshen Evening News reports the number of empty nesters in Liaoning province increased from 2.3 million in 2010 to 3.04 million in 2011. That means about 41 out of l00 people over 60 years old in the province live alone without children around. The empty nesters are concerned by three major problems; financial inadequacy, lack of physical care and insufficient emotional support, experts said. |
