Tianjin-based Evening News reported that the city organized a grand ceremony to honor athletes to the 2012 London Olympics. Tianjin's Party Chief Zhang Gaoli said athletes have brought glory to the city and that sports development is important, both to extend the influence of Tianjin across the world and encourage its residents. |
