LOS ANGELES - Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinping left Los Angeles, California, on Friday night, wrapping up his official visit to the Unites States.

Xi visited Washington DC, the state of Iowa and Los Angeles during the five-day trip to America as a guest of his US counterpart Joe Biden. He met with US President Barack Obama and held talks with Biden. He also participated in a number of trade and economic events and had wide-ranging contacts with the American people from all walks of life.

The United States is the first leg of Xi's three-nation tour which will also take him to Ireland and Turkey.
