24 hospitalized after eating mushrooms in SW China

KUNMING - Twenty-four people sickened after eating non-poisonous mushrooms are receiving treatment in a hospital in Southwest China's Yunnan province, doctors said on Monday.
The incident occurred in Jinji township of Baoshan city on Friday after the people ate mushrooms at a local restaurant, according to doctors with Baoshan Municipal No 2 Hospital, where the sick are being treated.
As many as 100 people may have consumed the mushrooms.
The incident is under investigation.
