The Slovakia Pavilion launched an exhibition featuring 54 paintings by Stanislav Harangozo, an artist from the Eastern European country on Oct 11.

The exhibition aims to allow Expo visitors to get a taste of the glamour and flavour of Slovakia's culture and art.

Harangozo portrays urban and rural landscapes in an abstract way in his works, which were exhibited at Shanghai's Huangpu Bookstore during the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and the 60-year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Slovakia last year.
