Sichuan to create China's western Wall Street

East Grand Street in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, also known as Dongdajie, is being developed into China's western Wall Street, according to the 3rd Grand East Street Financial Forum held on Thursday in Chengdu.
Known as the birthplace of Jiaozi, the earliest paper money in the world, Dongdajie, covering a distance of 5.2 km, is densely lined with office buildings.
Guided by the Sichuan provincial finance office, the forum discussed the success and problems of China's western development, capital innovation in the market and opportunities for business buildings with subways nearby.
Having being held for two years, the forum has become the most influential and high-level financial forum in western China.
