Boy says he stole cars to draw rich dad's attention

Police in Chengdu, Sichuan province, arrested an 18-year-old boy who was caught driving around in a stolen car, just months after completing a two-year term behind bars for stealing seven vehicles in 2007.
The boy told police he didn't steal cars for money, but only to grab the attention of his millionaire father, who had neglected him since his childhood.
"My parents are divorced and I live with my father. But he's always been too busy with his business and never paid any attention to me. I thought he might care if I get into trouble," the boy said.
