Groom gets busy gowning train to set world record

A man from Jilin, a city in Jilin province, is gunning for the Guinness Book for making his lady love a wedding dress as long as a 1,579-m train.

Zhao Peng met his soon-to-be bride on the Internet. They're due to get married on Aug 6.

Zhao, who stands 1.90 m tall, hopes to fit the gown on to a train before D-day in his attempt to break the existing world record set by another nutcase in Bucharest, Romania, on April 1.

It has not been confirmed if Zhao's bride will try on the gown.
