China starts batch production of A(H1N1) vaccine

A researcher with Sinovac Biotech Company begins preparation work for producing A(H1N1) influenza vaccine for human use with the seed lot of flu virus "NYMCX-179A". China received on Monday, June 8, 2009 the flu strain samples shipped from the United States, for the mass production of A(H1N1) influenza vaccine. Chinese drug companies are expected to have the vaccine produced by July. [Xinhua]
