Man kidnaps boy to win back ex-girlfriend

Updated: 2009-05-06 10:05 A man was arrested in Gaoxian county, Sichuan province, after he kidnapped his ex-girlfriend's younger brother in a failed attempt to win her back. The farmer, from a mountainous village, met the woman in 2004 while they worked as migrant workers at a factory in Zhejiang province. They later lived together. During the Spring Festival, Qing Mei dumped him and left. In order to win her back, he snatched her 14-year-old brother on Friday but the plan backfired. (West China Metropolis Daily) |
