Father, son drunken dare nearly ends in tragedy

A drunken man and his father who dared each other to jump into a river in Meishan, Sichuan province, nearly ended up dead.

Both were drinking on Friday when the son jumped into the river and was swept away. But the father was unable to save him and did not follow after him as he promised.

Luckily, some passersby called firefighters and they rescued the son.
