Tall man complains he's short on women

Updated: 2009-02-21 10:38 A lanky man recently admitted he has lied about his height in order to meet women and find a spouse, but yet he's still unhappy. Zhang Yonggan, 44, stands 206 cm tall, or 6 feet 9 inches, and lives in Liuyang, Hunan province. He said he's often told people that he's 196 cm when asked about his height. Zhang discussed his dilemma with the local media and explained how he has scared away many girls because of his height. Zhang married in 1988 but got divorced four years later because his wife was 162 cm tall and not a good match. He's been unable to purchase clothes or shoes for years and cannot understand why he's so tall as his parents are both about 160 cm tall. (Sanxiang Metropolis Daily) |
