Chinese furniture to go more branded

The First China Traditional Furniture Cultural Fair is to be held next March in Guangdong Province, revealed a press conference in Beijng Hotel co-hosted by the China National Furniture Association and Zhongshan City government on Wednesday.

According to Mr. Jia Qingwen, Chairman of CNFA, most of the furniture factories in China are only focusing on the material selection and designs of their products. If the industry wants a more sustainable development, more attention should be paid to the construction of their own brands. The First China Traditional Furniture Cultural Fair is aimed at promoting both the Chinese domestic furniture brands and local culture.

Sanxiang County, the host location of next year’s furniture gala is famous for its furniture production and markets, especially for furniture collectors to find the genuine old Chinese furniture pieces which can be dated back to Ming or Qing Dynasties.
