AMD powers biggest quad-core iCafe in China

Tianjin Inforport, the first AMD flagship quad-core iCafe in China, officially opened in late July. Tianjin Inforport has purchased four hundred high-end Founder PCs (for I-Café) powered by AMD quad-core processors, thus has become, to this day, the biggest quad-core iCafe in the country.

The Founder PCs adopted by Tianjin Inforport are powered by the low-power AMD quad-core Phenom 9100e processor, with a 512KB x 4 discrete L2 cache for each core, and a shared 2MB L3 cache for the four cores. With this architecture, the CPU can share information more quickly, while enhancing multi-task and multi-tread processing, significantly decreasing system latency, improving computing efficiency, and fully reducing power consumption. In addition, the Founder PCs employ a high definition graphic card, which, when coupled with the AMD quad-core processor, can deliver ultra high definition, smoothly run popular online and PC games, and continue to satisfy demands for a further 2 to 3 years.
