Strong aftershock jolts west China

CHENGDU - An aftershock measuring 5.0 magnitude jolted the area between Pingwu County and Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Sichuan Province at 4:15 p.m. Thursday.

The epicenter of the aftershock was at 32.1 degrees north latitude and 104.7 degrees east longitude, according to the Sichuan Provincial earthquake network.
