Firms start matchmaking staff to retain talent(China Daily)
Updated: 2008-01-05 17:14 A number of companies in Dalian, Liaoning Province, have come up with a novel way to retain staff - matchmaking employees in the hope that couples will set up home in the city. More than 80 single employees took part in a party organized by workers' unions of three companies and about 30 people said they found someone. Many participants said they found the event satisfying. Young working adults are reportedly having less of a social life, with increasing work stress. (New Business News) |
