Wedding spares no expense

A 1-million-yuan (US$125,000) wedding ceremony was organized in Jindu Hotel
in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on Sunday.
It was the most expensive wedding ceremony that has ever taken place in the
autonomous region to date.
In addition to the hugely expensive grand wedding banquet, the bride was
provided with a crown mounted with diamonds and gems, diamond rings, a golden
necklace and other luxurious jewellery.
The wedding was organized by a local wedding ceremony company.
The bride, surnamed Li, said the wedding was worth the cost because a wedding
should be a memorable day. She also said she would cherish the wedding ceremony
DVD as a keepsake.
Li, an employee at a local company, was married to a business tycoon.
