Wife divorces husband for giving her STD

The Nanning Intermediate People's Court in South China's Guangxi Zhuang
Autonomous Region on Monday approved a divorce request from a woman surnamed Wei
who was infected with a sexually transmitted disease by her husband.
Wei, who said she had always been faithful to her husband and never has
casual sex, was found to have contracted gonorrhea last July. Wei believed that
her husband surnamed Chen, who frequently visited prostitutes, was responsible
for her disease and filed a lawsuit after she collected evidence last month.
The court said it was Chen's mistake that led to the family breaking up and
ruled in favour of the plaintiff.
